Programme
- Meeting and preparation:
We meet 30 minutes before the booked time at our dropzone at Ashburton Airport or we can arrange a transfer from Christchurch (to be arranged after completed booking). Once at the meeting point, after filling in some paperwork you will finally get to know your tandem master who will give you a briefing of the skydive, the activity's safety measures and the equipment. All you have to do next is jump on the plane, sit back and enjoy the view!
- Flight and jump:
You are going to enjoy first a scenic plane ride until we reach 9,000ft. Once reached the right altitude you will be able to have a stunning view of the coastline and of Canterbury region. Now the tandem master will check the equipment, open the doors and count to 3 before jumping out of the plane! You will soon reach speeds of 200km/h and freefall for 30 seconds before the parachute is deployed.
- Landing and return:
After a 5 minutes parachute flight, the tandem master will help you get ready for the landing. You will gently land back at the dropzone.
