Canyoning in the Rio Egua

This route, of medium difficulty, is full of jumps, water slides and abseilings that will help you to sharpen your skills, charging you with adrenaline. Tour programme - Preparation: We meet at our base in Piode, in upper Valsesia. After giving you the necessary equipment, there will be a brief introduction on the activity, included some tests on the use of the descender. You will then be divided into groups of minimum 2 and maximum 8 participants. Each group will be followed by a guide. Afterwards, a half an hour ride on our shuttle will take you to Carcoforo, in Alta Valsermenza. After a pleasant 20-min walk through pastures and larch woods, we will reach the entrance of the stream. - Tour: The entire route is full of jumps, water slides and abseilings, the highest of which reaches a height of 40 m, ending in a breathtaking green blade. No jump is mandatory, you can always choose to follow the easiest route. Thanks to our certified guides, you will discover all the secrets of canyoning and the hidden wonders of Valsermence. - Return: After about 2.5hrs spent in the canyon, the route will end just 5-min walk from the car park, where the shuttle will take you back to our base in Piode. Here you can enjoy our hot showers, relax in the sun, have a refreshing drink at our bar or play soccer or tennis on our courts.
