During our Benagil cave tour, you will experience a journey into the amazing coastline of the Algarve, with lots of beaches and caves to admire during the 2.5 hrs of cruise. You will see the castle of S.João do Arade and the fort of Stª Catarina from the Arade river, a unique perspective from the river to the city of Portimão. You will see beautiful beaches and many caves, from Portimão through Carvoeiro, passing Benagil all the way to the famous beach of Praia da Marinha. During the boat tour, our guide will talk and explain all about the caves and the coastline of the region with the formation of the stunning cave.
We will have a break of around 20 min, depending on the weather condition, to swim in the clear water around the cave.
On the way back, the captain will take you further away from the cliffs, and maybe you will be lucky to see some dolphins and to have the best view you can have of the coastline. After the tour, the boat will go back to the meeting point.

It was a fantastic experience and exceeded our expectations. Although the tour was supposed to be in English or Portuguese, Vitor Hugo adapted to our language and explained everything in Spanish, which was much appreciated. We entered all the caves with the corresponding explanations, and of course, we finally enjoyed a refreshing swim in Benagili, which was very welcome in the heat.
Thank you to the guide and the driver for this great experience. We also appreciated the reminder of the meeting point and the location of the free parking.
