Details
Supervised by a former athlete who will help you progress, enjoy a surf lesson with an innovative approach. You will be offered a personalized teaching while your state-certified instructor ensures your safety. Alone, or with a friend or family member, come and practice on one of Hossegor's most popular beaches in the world of surfing!
Meeting & Preparation
We meet you at the school 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. There is a free city shuttle bus (called YEGO) from the centre of Hossegor, Seignosse and the surrounding beaches. You are welcomed at the reception desk and then be provided with equipment adapted to your age and level. Finally, your instructor guides you towards the beach.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1 week in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Do I need to be a good swimmer, and what's the minimum age?
You need to have swimming ability to participate. The minimum age is 6 years.
Why can the time of my lesson change, and how big is the group?
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best surfing conditions. This is a private lesson that you can take alone, or with a friend or family member.
Is equipment included, and what do I need to bring?
A professional wetsuit, swim shirt and surfboard are included. You should bring your own swimwear, a towel and a bottle of water.
Where is the meeting point and how can I get there?
The meeting point is at the school, 15 minutes before the lesson starts. You can get there using the free city shuttle bus (YEGO).
How long does the lesson last?
The lesson includes a theory session and a warm-up on the beach, followed by up to 1.5 hours of practice in the sea.
