Private Surfing Lessons at Playa de A Lanzada for All Levels

In our private surfing lessons at Playa de A Lanzada you can learn a lot in a short time. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or already experienced surfer. All our instructors are certified by the Galician Surf Federation (Federación Galega de Surf) and can therefore teach even the best surfers. The beach of A Lanzada is perfect for all kinds of surf courses. With its few visitors and its variety of different waves, it offers you everything you need for maximum learning progress. It will also enchant you with its white sand and its great view of the Isla de Ons island. We provide you with all the equipment you need, so that you don't miss anything. We are looking forward to you!

Meeting & Preparation We'll meet at our base 15 minutes before your course starts. Here your instructor will introduce himself, and will also take the chance to get to know you in order to get a better idea of your goals and expectations. Afterwards we hand you the complete surf equipment, and you can get changed in one of our changing rooms. The beach is then only a few steps away from our base. Here we define the goals of the surf lesson and we inform you about the theory and the technique you need for surfing.

Course Content - Theory session on the beach - The right warm up - 1 to 2 days: Information about equipment, safety in the water and first exercises with the surfboard - 3 to 5 days: safety in the water, learn how to forecast waves, getting up on the surfboard, technique of taking-off - Depending on your level: surfing waves which come from the side, meteorology, information about different types of surfaces, independence in the water, advanced manoeuvers, competition rules
