Details
Explore the beautiful limestone coast around Sesimbra while sea kayaking in Arrábida Natural Park. Lead by an experienced guide you paddle along the coastline of Luiz Saldanha Marine Park and can get a close look at the unique rock formations that have formed in the course of millions of years. Along the way we stop for some swimming and snorkeling at paradisical beaches like Ribeira do Cavalo.
Programme- Meeting & Preparation:
We meet at Clube Naval Sesimbra, where you receive your equipment and a safety briefing from your guide. Then we board our stable 2-seater kayaks and paddle west from the Sesimbra marina.
- Tour:
Along the way we pay a visit to places like Mula Cove, Pedra da Mula, Lapa da Boca do Tamboril and Frade Cove. Your guide will be happy to tell you the stories behind these places. At the beautiful beach of Ribeira do Cavalo we take a break to explore the area, go for a swim and use our diving masks to discover the beautiful underwater world. If you booked a picnic lunch you will receive it here.
- Return:
After about 4 hours of paddling we return to our meeting point in the Sesimbra marina.
