Get to know our breathtaking island during our surfing lessons in Madeira for beginners and intermediate surfers, and benefit from the first-class conditions of the sea on-site. Here we find both sandy beaches for beginners and stone beaches for more advanced surfers. The mild subtropical climate and the large number of waves ensure you the best quality during your surf course. Our experienced and qualified surf instructors have a great passion for outdoor sports and look forward to sharing it with you.
We welcome surfing enthusiasts from 7 years of age who would like to learn the basic techniques of surfing or are looking to bring their already acquired skills to the next level. Due to our reduced group size of maximum 10 participants per instructor we can guarantee high quality during our lessons so that you can achieve maximum learning success even in a short time.
Meeting & Preparation
Depending on the wave conditions we meet at the pre-arranged meeting point on the beach. Alternatively, you can also use our pick-up service from your hotel in the Funchal area at a surcharge of 20€ per person. On site, we will start with a short theoretical introduction, and we will also teach you everything important about surfing safety.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1 day in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Yes, you need to have swimming ability to participate. The minimum age for the surfing lessons is 7 years.
