Boat Trip to the Benagil Cave & the Santa Catarina Fortress

For our boat trip to the Benagil Cave, we meet in the harbor of Portimão, directly at our boat. Here, you will receive a short safety briefing and you will be given life jackets. Then, we will hop on board our motorboat and start the trip.

As soon as we leave the port, we will take you to the Castle of S. João do Arade, which will take your breath away with its impressive and interesting architecture and its great location directly by the sea, surrounded by sandy beaches. We will also take you to the Santa Catarina Fortress which attracts thousands of tourists every year. During our 2 hour tour, you will also get the best views of beautiful beaches and water caves that the Algarve is so well known for.

Before we reach the highlight of the tour, the Benagil Cave, we let you enjoy the view of the great sandy beach Praia da Marinha. Once we arrive at the Benagil Cave, you will be able to marvel at the impressive rock formations while your guide explains the history of this unique place. Furthermore, you will also learn about the flora, fauna and geology of the region.

Departure & Return
We meet 30 minutes before your booked start time in the harbor of Portimão at kiosk number 10, directly next to our boat. There is a paid car park where you can leave your car. After our tour, we will arrive at the same harbor again.
