If your kids are between 9 and 15 years old and still need the right equipment for their ski holidays, our kids' ski lessons in Sölden are a perfect choice. Thanks to our lessons in small groups with a maximum of 8 participants and specially adapted course times that reduce waiting times, your kids can fully enjoy their time on the slopes.
For beginners, ski lessons take place in our safe Kinderland directly above the Giggijoch Restaurant. Here, our experienced ski instructors teach the children the basics of skiing with a lot of fun and motivation. Kids who are ready to step onto the piste can explore the slopes of Sölden and refine their technique during their ski lessons.
The diverse weekly program is put together individually by our ski instructors according to the ability and age of the children. Among the highlights: piste freestyle and easy jumps for advanced skiers, a photo shoot, the glacier run and our final race with an award ceremony on Thursday.
On the first day of the course, we meet at least 15 minutes in advance of the actual start time at our assembly point at the top station of Giggijochbahn.
The lunch break takes place from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. During the lunch break, the children and their ski instructors have lunch together. Children for whom no lunchtime supervision has been booked can be picked up in agreement with the ski instructor at 11:30 am for the time of the lunch break. The ski instructor informs the parents about the meeting point for pick-up.
If you book including equipment, you can pick up the ski equipment at the Hotel RIDERS IN (Dorfstraße 92, 6450 Sölden) until 6 pm on the day before the course starts, or at 8 am on the day of the course. On the day of the course, the equipment must be picked up by 8:30 am at the latest. Equipment can be used for up to 7 days.
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass before the first lesson at the ski lift ticket office or the ski school. You can also buy the ski pass online on the Sölden website, where it is cheaper (the earlier, the cheaper).
Ski depot is available for a small fee, payable on-site.
Kids loved it and learned lots
It was my daughter's second ski course with Vacancia. She really enjoys it and makes great progress day by day and enjoys skiing more and more. She enjoyed being with the other children and the teacher. She just didn't like the food 🫣 She's already looking forward to next year
