Kids Ski Lessons (from 5 y.) for First Timers - Zahmer Kaiser-Walchsee

You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The lessons are suitable for children from 5 years old.

On the first day, the meeting point is at 9:45 am in the adventure land, right at the Amberglift. This is 15 minutes before the course starts.

The lunch break from 12:00-13:00 is unsupervised. However, you can book a lunch service on-site for an extra charge of €12, which includes a drink, food, and transfer to the restaurant.

Your child will learn the basic techniques of skiing with qualified instructors. The lessons start in the Kids & Adventure Land and, once the basics are mastered, continue on the beginner-friendly slopes of the Zahmen Kaiser ski resort.

The lessons begin in the ski school's own Kids & Adventure Land, located at the Amberglift. As soon as the children have learned the basic techniques, they will ski on the beginner-friendly slopes of the Zahmer Kaiser ski resort.
