Details
This winter, swap your skis for a snowboard. With us, during our snowboarding lessons for first-timers in La Plagne Montchavin - Les Coches, you will metamorphose into a rider in a few hours.
This first initiation is for everyone from 11 years old who want to discover this other way of sliding down the slopes. In groups of 6 participants maximum, everyone can progress according to their own learning pace. During three days, we will make sure that you are completely autonomous with your equipment and teach you all the proper reflexes to progress on the slopes in complete safety.
At the end of the training, the budding snowboarders will make direct tracks with their board, on flat and with one foot. A new passion may be born! For this initiation, note that the helmet is mandatory.
Meeting Time
We meet 10 min before the start of the snowboarding lessons.
FAQ
Offers by Evolution 2 La Plagne Montchavin - Les Coches60 Reviews8 Offers
What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
What is the minimum age to take part in the lessons?
The lessons are open to participants from 11 years old.
How many participants are in a group?
Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 participants, allowing everyone to learn at their own pace.
How many days does the course last?
The beginner course takes place over 3 days.
When should I arrive before the lesson starts?
You should arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the lesson starts.
Do I need any prior snowboarding experience?
No prior experience is required. The lessons are specifically designed for complete beginners to become autonomous with their equipment and learn essential safety reflexes on the slopes.
