Snowshoe glacier safari

Our qualified mountain guide will cross with you the Rettenbachferner Glacier, which is famous for its icefalls. The trail runs past huge ice towers and deep crevasses (some of 100m depth). During autumn and winter it is necessary to hike with special snow shoes (available for rent), in the summertime mountaineering boots will do. If participants wish to do so, they can be abseiled down a crevasse.
