What to Expect

Whether you want to try freestyle for the first time or improve the tricks you already know, our 3-day freestyle ski and snowboard lessons in Val Thorens offer the ideal setting to progress with confidence. Open to all freestyle levels (a good skiing level is recommended), the course takes place in the resort’s dedicated snowparks, where each rider can focus on their own goals with the support of experienced instructors.

Beginners start by learning the fundamentals of freestyle: controlling approach speed, developing balance on small boxes, practising safe landings and understanding how to move smoothly over the first features. Meanwhile, more experienced riders work on refining their style, increasing amplitude and tackling more technical obstacles, from varied rails to larger kickers adapted to their level. Throughout the three days, your instructor provides personalised advice to help you progress step by step.

In a friendly and supportive atmosphere, these lessons let you explore freestyle safely while enjoying one of Europe’s most renowned parks. Whether you hope to land your very first trick or push your skills further, this 3-day course in Val Thorens is a great way to discover a new side of skiing or snowboarding.

Meeting Time

We meet at the bottom station of the Pionniers chairlift, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

Kids up to 4 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• Please make sure you have skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson
