Discover the treasures of the Mediterranean Sea with our FFESSM Level 1 diving course in Saint-Raphaël. Ideal for beginners, this 6 dives course will teach you all the basic techniques to be autonomous underwater. The Level 1 certification will also allow you to go up to a depth of 20 m with a guide. At such a depth, you will surely meet wonderful underwater species, such as dusky groupers, lobsters or barracudas!
By combining theory with practice, our state-qualified instructors will help you to make rapid progress during those 3 to 5 days of training. They will take you to several dive sites, including the magnificent Lion of the Sea Island, which will offer you a spectacle of a thousand colours, thanks to its corals and the other bright algae.

The FFESSM certification is a French certification. Level 1 teaches you diving autonomy, through familiarization with the equipment, learning the safety rules and knowledge of your environment. It also allows you to dive to a depth of 20 m.
Programme- On-site theory lecture:
The theoretical part will be taught in the diving centre, as well as directly on the boat before each dive, with one of our certified diving instructors.
- Kick-off:
We will meet you at our diving centre in Saint-Raphaël. You will find paid parking close to the centre. From there, an instructor will give you some explanations about the training. Afterwards, we will go to the sea for your first dive. The exact schedule of the course will be agreed upon individually on your first day and will depend on your progress and free time over the next few days. Dives can be done in the morning, as well as in the afternoon, after the first day of the course.
