Details

Starting from the village of Saint-Jean-de-Buèges, rent your mountain bike to discover the typical landscapes of the Hérault region with its river, its gorges, and its old villages. Whatever your level, our qualified instructors will help you find the ideal route to suit your needs. The bike paths are very popular, running alongside the river and the small authentic villages, they are rather flat and therefore particularly accessible. If you are more experienced, we give you the freedom to go off the beaten track. In any case, we will provide you with a map to help you find your way. Our bikes are changed every year, so you have the latest models on the market at your disposal.
Pick-up You can pick up the reserved mountain bike from 9 am in our shop and return it by 6:30 pm at the latest.
Visit suggestions - Saint-Jean-de-Buèges: directly in the old village where our base is located, you can walk through the narrow streets to admire the old stone houses as well as the old church of the Nativity of Saint-Jean-Baptiste and escape into the countryside to admire the village and the 11th-century fortress of Baulx at the foot of the Roc de Tras Castel, which offers an exceptional panorama - Pégairolles-de-Buèges: 5km from the base, come and discover this village of character known for its crystal spring forming a large natural aquarium set up for the pleasure of pilgrims. Don't forget to stop at the 11th-century Romanesque church of Notre-Dame-de-Pégairolles-de-Buèges to admire its bell tower with a stone spire pierced on each side to reveal its grey bell. - Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert: around 1 hour by mountain bike from the base, stroll through this medieval village, where you can see the Romanesque abbey of Gellone, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which houses the relics of the village.
