Advanced Surfing Lessons on Famara Beach

You already know the basics of surfing and are ready to take the next step in your surfing development? Then you've come to the right place! Join our advanced surfing lessons on the beach of Famara! Together with one of our qualified surf instructors, you will work on your paddling technique, learn new bottom turns and practice your first basic manoeuvres like top turns and cut-backs. Besides the practical part of our course, a theoretical surf lesson is waiting for you. Here, the focus will be on a better understanding of your surf equipment and the selection of the right board. We guarantee you the best learning success in small groups with a maximum of 8 participants. On Lanzarote, the beach of Famara offers us the best conditions for surfing lessons almost 365 days a year. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our surf school in Famara at 10 am. You will find it in the heart of the village, just a few minutes walk from the beach. If you're doing a full-day lesson, free hotel pick-up and drop-off can be arranged if you're not staying with us in Famara. At our school, you will meet your instructor and receive the necessary equipment. After changing your clothes, we will head to the beach where the course will start.

Course Content
- The right warm-up
- Learning different types of bottom turns
- Practical and theory sessions on the beach (including hydrodynamics, surfboard design and the history of surfing)
- Practice in the sea (including improvement of paddling technique and wave reading technique,
learning of first basic maneuvers like top-turns, cut-backs and floaters)
