If you are spending your holidays in Tropea and are looking for an adventure to explore the surroundings of the wonderful Coast of the Gods, then this boat trip to Capo Vaticano along the Coast of the Gods is the right experience for you! Our local skippers, true experts of the area, will guide you to discover the unspoiled nature, legends, and hidden treasures of one of the most beautiful coastlines of Italy.
We will leave from Tropea heading south to Capo Vaticano, a promontory with white cliffs that rise above the turquoise sea. Along the way, we will stop at Praja di Fuoco and Baia di Grotticelle, little hidden bays where we will explore the crystal clear sea bed and snorkel surrounded by hundreds of colourful fish. We will then pass by the Forum Erculis and the ruins of the ancient Roman port, a fascinating marine archaeological park, and the Bay of Scalinea, a golden sandy beach with an emerald sea. Here, if you wish, your skipper can fish for you sea urchins to taste fresh on board!
On the way back to Tropea, you cannot miss a stop at the wonderful Baia di Riaci and a swim in the Canyon of Scoglio Grande. After enjoying the magical atmosphere of the Grotta dello Scheletro, our tour will end at the Isola Bella and the Gotta degli Innamorati, historical symbol of the city of Tropea. In this picturesque setting, we will conclude our trip in the best way: an apéritif on board with local products and excellent typical wine!

Departure & Return
We meet directly at our base at the Tropea port 15 minutes before the booked time. Near our base, you will find a car park at €10 per day. At the end of the trip, we will return to the starting point.

Our tour leader was really great! (I don't remember his name, I just remember that he wasn't from Calabria)!! The tour was worth it, the coast is wonderful, we made several stops for swimming and ate freshly caught sea urchins. Highly recommended!
