If you are on holiday at Lake Garda and want to explore the surroundings of one of the most fascinating places in Italy, you cannot miss a boat trip along the Sirmione Peninsula. Our expert motorboat drivers, great experts of the area, will guide you to discover the hidden treasures of a land sun and celebrated by poets over two thousand years ago.
We will leave from the port of the Scaligero Castle and proceed along the peninsula until we reach the elegant villa of Maria Callas, a famous opera singer who fell in love with Sirmione so much that she built her house there in the 20s. We will then continue along the coast, observing the breathtaking view of the Aquaria spa, sulfurous water baths set in the greenery of the peninsula. The next stop will be at the Roman villa known as "Grotte di Catullo", a romantic and evocative place where the poet used to write his verses.
We will then pass by the Boiola sulfurous source, from which flows the beneficial thermal water of Sirmione. Finally, after admiring the fortification of the Scaligera fortress, one of the best-preserved lake castles in the area, our tour will end with the passage under the drawbridge of the castle (be careful to lower your head!), and then return to the port of Sirmione.
