Our day trip to the Bue Marino caves and Cala Luna allows you to see two of the most iconic spots in the Gulf of Orosei with great flexibility.
We set sail from the port of Cala Gonone and head straight to the Caves of the Bue Marino for the first stop on our itinerary. The visit at the caves lasts 1.5 hours, and after we head directly to Cala Luna. Here, you have plenty of time to visit this fascinating site, which takes its name from the way Sardinian shepherds used to call the Mediterranean monk seal. Amidst the light displays, petroglyphs and suggestive ravines, time in the caves will pass quickly, and you will soon be ready to embark for our second destination.
The beach of Cala Luna represents the best this gulf has to offer, being the ideal place to relax, sunbathe and swim in some of the clearest waters on this coast.

From the recommended parking lot, it is simply a walk down the road towards the beach. You pass the checkpoint, are kindly directed to the correct berth by the water, and can board the boat. The trip itself is very unique and not too long. And Cala Luna beach is beautiful. Definitely bring a parasol for Cala Luna; it is a stunning beach!
