Details

Our day trip to the Bue Marino caves and Cala Luna allows you to see two of the most iconic spots in the Gulf of Orosei with great flexibility. We set sail from the port of Cala Gonone and head straight to the Caves of the Bue Marino for the first stop on our itinerary. The visit at the caves lasts 1.5 hours, and after we head directly to Cala Luna, where we arrive at about 12 noon. Here, you have plenty of time to visit this fascinating site, which takes its name from the way Sardinian shepherds used to call the Mediterranean monk seal. Amidst the light displays, petroglyphs and suggestive ravines, time in the caves will pass quickly, and you will soon be ready to embark for our second destination. The beach of Cala Luna represents the best this gulf has to offer, being the ideal place to relax, sunbathe and swim in some of the clearest waters on this coast.
Highlights - Transfer with a spacious boat - Visit of the Bue Marino Caves - Long stop at Cala Luna
Departure & Return We meet 45 minutes before departure. If you arrive by car, parking is available inside the harbour for €6 for the whole day. You can find return times in the gallery.

Good to know - Only a limited number of people can participate in the visit of the Bue Marino Caves. For this reason, we recommend booking in advance for the visit, which starts at the same time as the selected excursion. - If you would like to purchase your ticket locally, we recommend that you arrive on time at our meeting point so that you have time to purchase your ticket for the caves - For the starting times of 7.30, 9, 10 and 11am (in August and September) the access is guaranteed in 3 beaches, out of the 5 reported, on rotation. In the same two months, the stops will be 2 out of 5 for the activities starting at 12am and 1pm. In October, there will always be 2 stops decided by the captain

Very well organized. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, the cave visit was cancelled, but we received a refund. Recommended.

Easy and convenient access to the Grotto and Cala Luna. You can use any of the consortium's boats, which makes getting around easier.
