Surf Lessons on La Savane Beach in Capbreton

Book surf lessons in Capbreton and follow in the footsteps of the greatest champions. With its consistent waves and endless beaches, the Landes coast is one of the most famous surfing spots in France, hosting the most prestigious international competitions. Whether you are new to surfing or already have some experience, we will offer you lessons tailored to your level. Our instructors are passionate professionals who will do their utmost to help you progress. For better teaching, our groups are limited to 8 participants of similar age, or mixed age for families wishing to surf together. Let yourself be tempted by the unique pleasure of surfing!

Meeting & Preparation We meet at our school at the time agreed upon after booking (free parking is available nearby). On site, changing rooms are available and you have the possibility to store your personal belongings in a locker. We will then provide you with equipment adapted to your level. Afterwards, we go to the beach, 3 minutes away on foot. Lessons are usually conducted on La Savane Beach but may exceptionally take place on La Prévent Beach if conditions are not optimal.

Start time The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. Please contact our school 2 or 3 days before the first lesson to confirm the exact start time.

Course content - Theory session on the beach - The right warm-up - Practice on the beach - Practice in the water Surfing beginners at our school are typically able to: - After 1 day: catch a wave near the shore, keep their balance and start to stand up on the board - After 5 days: catch waves near the shore standing up Intermediate surfers at our school are typically able to: - After 1 day: improve their standing technique and anticipate the waves - After 5 days: surf on small waves and start surfing across the wave Advanced surfers at our school are typically able to: - After 1 day: vary their trajectory - After 5 days: surf waves over 1 m and acquire speed Please note that everyone's learning progress is different as some people learn quicker than others.
