SSI Scuba Diver Course at Cap d'Antibes for Beginners

Sign up for our SSI Scuba Diver course and start your diving journey towards becoming an independent diver. This internationally recognized certification requires no previous experience: you can do it as your first diving experience or after a trial dive that left you thirsty for more.

In the bay of Villeneuve-Loubet and especially near the Cap d'Antibes, you will benefit from ideal conditions to perform your first dives in complete safety. Your instructor will put you at ease right from the start: they will help you to familiarize yourself with the equipment and learn how to breathe underwater so that everything goes smoothly. The SSI Scuba Diver is a quick course that allows you to learn the basics in a few days, making it the perfect option for those who don't have much time on their hands.

The SSI Scuba Diver qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet
- Dive with a scuba diving instructor by your side
You can then continue your training towards the SSI Open Water Diver course by completing the remaining theory sessions and dives.

Programme
- eLearning:
Access to eLearning is not included in the price. You can either study the theory before your dives or do them at the same time. We have a classroom at our base. The important thing is to have completed the theory part once the required dives have been made, in order to validate the whole course.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our office at the Marina Baie des Anges in Villeneuve-Loubet at the booked time. You will find a paid car park near the port. After being welcomed by our team, we will take 30 minutes to equip you and provide you with a quick briefing on the upcoming course. We have a changing room on our premises available to our guests. Then we will go on the boat and head to the diving site.

Requirements
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Physical health
- Swimming ability
- Medical certificate of less than one year
- If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses
