SSI Open Water Diver Course at Cap d'Antibes for Beginners

The SSI Open Water Diver course is the most complete certification to reach diving autonomy. In a few days, you will learn the basics to dive safely. The training does not require any previous skills or experience. Through a combination of theory and practical dives, you will acquire all the necessary knowledge to dive in complete confidence.

In the bay of Villeneuve-Loubet and especially near the Cap d'Antibes, you will benefit from ideal conditions to perform your first dives in complete safety. Your instructor will put you at ease right from the start: they will help you to familiarise yourself with the equipment and learn how to breathe underwater so that everything goes smoothly. The SSI Open Water Diver is an internationally recognised certification that will allow you to dive anywhere in the world.

The SSI Open Water Diver qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy
- Rent or buy diving equipment worldwide

Programme
- eLearning:
Access to eLearning is not included in the price. You can either study the theory before your dives or do them at the same time. We have a classroom at our base. The important thing is to have completed the theory part once the required dives have been made, in order to validate the whole course.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our office at the Marina Baie des Anges in Villeneuve-Loubet at the booked time. You will find a paid car park near the port. After being welcomed by our team, we will take 30 minutes to equip you and provide you with a quick briefing on the upcoming course. We have a changing room available to our guests on our premises. Then we will go on the boat and head to the diving site.

Requirements
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Physical health
- Swimming ability
- Medical certificate of less than three months
- If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses
