Navigate the blue waters and explore the cliffs and blue cave in this 3-hour kayaking adventure in the sunny Istrian coast! During this 4-kilometre guided route you can paddle in your kayak to see the steep rock walls and even visit an old military zone.
Tour programme- Preparation:
Our tour will start in Valovine Beach, where we will meet 15 minutes before and you will be given a 20-minute introduction to learn the basics of how to paddle safely. If you arrive by car, parking is widely available nearby. We will then go out to sea in small groups and you will always be accompanied by one of our experienced instructors.
- Tour:
We then head out onto the water for a relaxing 4-kilometer paddle. The true magic begins as we find our rhythm, effortlessly gliding over the turquoise sea with each stroke. Along the way, we’ll take breaks to snorkel, explore canyons, try some cliff jumping, and enjoy a picnic in nature.
Our first stop is a small canyon, full of hidden corners and fascinating rock formations. It’s the perfect place to explore and snap some amazing photos—especially near the old military bunkers perched high above on the cliffs.
During a beach stop of about 30 to 45 minutes, you’ll have time to snorkel and discover the marine life of the Northern Adriatic. And for the adventurous, there’s even the chance to jump into the sea from the surrounding cliffs—classic Pula cliff jumping at its best!- Return:
From there, we paddle back to our starting point, where the tour comes to a close and it’s time to say goodbye

We had a fantastic time on our kayak tour with PulaOutdoor! From the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed. We joined the tour as a group of two families, with young kids and teenagers, and the whole experience was incredibly family-friendly.
Communication before the trip was excellent – Laura kept us well informed via WhatsApp and made everything easy to arrange. During the tour, Thea was our guide, and she was truly wonderful. She made sure we were safe at all times, kept the group together, and brought so much warmth and care to the experience. Her explanations and fun facts along the way made the trip even more enjoyable.
The 3-hour tour was the perfect duration for families. We explored beautiful, quiet spots, snorkeled and saw a variety of sea life, and even had the chance to do some cliff jumping from different heights – which was a hit with the kids and teens!
After the kayaking, there were plenty of peaceful spots nearby to swim or grab something tasty to eat.
Overall, it was a top experience. Kayaking was a joy, the guides were amazing, and the whole tour was well-organized and full of special moments. Highly recommended!
