Trial Scuba Diving in Split

Split is famous for the Diocletian Palace and its historic centre, but did you know the Dalmatian city is also concealing some secrets beneath the surface of the sea? If you are eager to experience something completely unreal, our trial scuba diving in Split is made for you! During more than one hour and a half, you will learn anything you need about diving, before following one of our qualified instructors in the shallow waters of the lagoon. For 20 minutes, you will be under the water, alone with your teacher, who will make sure you feel completely safe and comfortable.

Dive area For a first experience, you will stay nearby the beach in the lagoon. It is perfectly appropriate for the beginners as the dives are taking place close to the shore, in shallow and sheltered waters. Moreover, you can already contemplate the rich biodiversity of the Adriatic Sea.

Programme We meet at the dive centre at the Radison Blu Resort Beach. It can be difficult to find parking here, so we recommend arriving early, or taking a taxi. We will start with trying the equipment in order to find the one which fits you perfectly. You will get all the required information, and our instructors will teach you the different breathing techniques, how to relax, and how to deal with the different pressure stages. Afterwards, you will descend with the instructor under the water, first at a depth of one metre. There, you will stop and practice breathing through the regulator, before going deeper once you are ready and relaxed. It is really important to us that you become familiar with your new environment. When you feel it, your instructor will take you by the hand to start your first scuba dive.
