Adult Ski Lessons "Easy Learning" for Beginners - Ramsau am Dachstein

You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

These lessons are designed for adults who have never skied before.

The course starts with the basics like schussing, stopping and using the lift on short skis. You will then learn how to carve and slowly transition to parallel skiing.

After these lessons, you will be able to ski down easy blue slopes without any problems.

The meeting point is in Kaliland. Please be there 15 minutes before the lessons start.

The course starts with easy short skis to help you get used to the equipment. You will then switch to allround carving skis with the correct length for your height.
