Our Discover Scuba Diving programme in Chania invites you to explore the magical underwater world. For 45 minutes, you will be immersed up to a depth of 8 meters in the crystal clear waters of the Cretan Sea and see dozens of species of fish and shellfish. Before the dive, we will give you a quick theory lesson, so that you will be able to communicate underwater and understand how to use your equipment. Afterwards, you will dive in pairs, accompanied by a state-qualified instructor, who will ensure your safety throughout the activity. So join us for an experience you won't forget!
Dive Area
We will dive near the shore, in shallow and waters. Thanks to the crystal clear water in this area, you will be able to see typical Mediterranean species such as Breams, European Anchovies or Red Mullets.
Programme
We will meet you at our base in Almyrida. Our base has a private car park. On request, we can also arrange free transfers from your hotel in the Chania area. Once you're at our base, we will first give you a theory lesson of about 25 minutes, to teach you how to use your equipment and to show you the main communication signals. Then, we will provide you with your equipment and go to our dive spot. We will swim in the water until we have reached a spot that is deep enough for your trial dive. An instructor will be supervising two people and will ensure your safety at all times.
