What to Expect

These kids snowboarding lessons for kids between 8 and 12 years are ideal if your kid wants to learn how to snowboard and use their equipment correctly, in a more private setting with their friends or siblings. The picturesque resort of Schladming provides a fantastic environment for young snowboarding enthusiasts. With a range of facilities and the option to include equipment rental, everything needed for a memorable experience is at hand.

The lessons are designed to introduce your child to the fundamentals of snowboarding, focusing on getting comfortable with the equipment and the basic techniques. Under the guidance of a qualified and enthusiastic instructor, your child will learn their first backside and frontside turns, which are essential for developing balance and control. In small groups of up to 6 kids, children can enjoy a more personalised learning experience, enhancing their confidence as they glide down their first slopes.

Throughout the session, the instructor will target each child's strengths, ensuring rapid progress and fun on the slopes. Whether opting for a half-day or full-day lesson, your child will benefit from focused attention, ensuring their snowboarding journey begins safely and joyfully. As they conquer the slopes, they will develop a love for the sport in the supportive environment of Schladming's snowy landscape.

Meeting Time

We meet 15 minutes before the course starts either next to the Tauernalm at the valley station of the Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen or right next to the Weitmoosalm and next to the Planai Superpark, depending on the booked location.

Lunch Care

If you book a full day course, our instructors are happy to look after your children during the lunch break. A meal is not included.

Equipment Rental

If you book including equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at our ski school office. We recommend picking up your equipment 30 minutes before the start of the lessons or the day before from 3:30 pm in our rental shop.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
