If your child is dreaming of becoming a snowboard star, then our kids snowboarding lessons in Schladming are the perfect start. These lessons are especially designed for those who have never set a foot on a board before and are ready to learn! Our team is excited to meet your little snowboarder beginners!
In small groups and guided by our trained and excited snowboard instructors, your child will make big leaps. They get to know their equipment, as well as the most important techniques, on our separate beginner's slopes. With their peers, they practise turning frontside and backside. It will not take long before they make their first descents.
Meeting point
We meet 15 minutes before the course starts either next to the Tauernalm at the valley station of the Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen or right next to the Weitmoosalm and next to the Planai Superpark, depending on the booking.
Equipment rental
If you book including equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at our ski school office. We recommend picking up your equipment 30 minutes before the start of the lessons or the day before from 3:30 pm in our rental shop.
Lunch break
If you book a full day course, our instructors are happy to look after your children during the lunch break. A meal is not included.
Ski pass
All snowboarders need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office before the first lesson.
Motivating instructors who were able to teach our 5-year-old that snowboarding was fun, even if it was very exhausting for him. In the end, however, he is down the entire piste and back up with the anchor lift. Very, very cool.

Our son (8.5y) took his first week of snowboard lessons and absolutely loved it! The first 2 days were a bit difficult but then he got the hang of it and by the end of the 4th day he was doing red slopes. All kudo's for his lovely teacher Yana, who always was super nice and friendly!
We took the lessons in Hochwurzen, which is great for starters and medium advanced boarders (starting their first tricks). For really advanced snowboarding you might better take the Planai, because there are more difficult slopes and fun parks.
