Trial Scuba Diving in Anissaras

Our trial scuba diving program in Anissaras works as an introduction to the world beneath the surface of the sea, a first opportunity to encounter the magical underwater landscape. This experience lasts 2 hours, and gives you a complete overview of what scuba diving is. It is composed of two parts: first, a theoretical introduction in order to give you all the required information needed to dive safely, and to learn how to properly handle your equipment. And secondly, a dive in the shallow waters close to the beach, to apply in practice what you have learned so far. This supervised dive will lead you to a maximum depth of 6 meters. The area around Anissaras Beach brims with coral reefs, and archaeological vestiges from Ancient Greece and the Minoan Civilization that you'll be able to discover during this first dive. We hope to give you a taste of what scuba diving is all about and maybe this is the beginning of a brand-new hobby.

Dive Area We have many dive spots close to Anissaras that are suitable for beginners, and close to the shore. Usually we choose one depending on the weather conditions, but also on how comfortable you feel with the gear and the practice. Even though they are in a shallow and sheltered area, each spot offers an interesting seabed to contemplate.

Programme We meet at 9:00 am at our dive centre. We can pick you up at your hotel or at a bus stop from 8:30 am, if you are in Anissaras or Hersonissos. We do this trial dive in groups of 6 people, to guarantee you the best supervision and instruction. The whole initiation lasts 2 hours, and we will dive for up to 45 min, before going back to our base.
