The Guisane River flows through the Serre-Chevalier valley and the Écrins National Park with great force, offering adventurers a unique opportunity to experience the thrill of a rafting trip. This discovery route passes through three pretty villages from Les Guibertes, and offers a chance to admire the Alpine nature in all its splendour, as well as guaranteeing few sporting episodes. It's the ideal setting for a family rafting experience!
Tour programme- Preparation:We meet
at the Sportrent shop in Chantemerle. There is a car park opposite where you can park your vehicle. There you will meet your instructors who will provide you with your equipment and give you some technical explanations, but also interesting information about the river. You can use our changing rooms and leave your belongings in secure lockers. Afterwards, everyone meets up in the
shuttle bus, which will drop you off at Les Guibertes for the start of the river trip.
- Tour:This
5-km trip descends from Les Guibertes to Chantemerle, offering thrills and adventure. It is very suitable for families and those who are looking for a relaxed atmosphere. There are a few rougher sections, notably between Villeneuve-la-Salle and Chantemerle, but you will have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and the different villages you pass through.
- Return:After
an hour and a half journey, you will arrive at Chantemerle, our base. As it is important to share the story of your adventures, you will be welcomed with a
drink and a small snack, perfect for a convivial moment. Afterwards, you will hand in your equipment. Showers are also at your disposal.
