Surf Lessons for Beginners & Intermediates (from 14 y.) near Lagos

With our surf lessons near Lagos, you will live a complete surf experience. The West and South Coasts of the Algarve are stunning and have many beaches that offer the best conditions for surfing. We will pick you up, and lead you to one beach, depending on the weather and on your experience. To help you progress, you will be divided into small groups of 8 people based on your level, and our dedicated and experienced instructors will make sure to get the most out of your surfing adventure.

Meeting & Preparation
We will pick you up in Jah Shaka Surf Shop R. Cândido dos Reis 112, 8600-681 Lagos at 8:45 am. All the required equipment (board, wetsuits, etc.) would be already prepared in our van. You will just have to hop in. Once arrived at the beach, we will change and prepare ourselves. Our instructors will also talk you through a quick briefing before beginning the warm-up. The day is divided into two lessons of one hour and a half. We provide you with the lunch. We will leave the beach around 3:30 pm.

Surfing beginners at our school are typically able to:
- After 1 day: perform the basics, such as paddling and taking off
- After 5 days: catch different types of waves by themselves
Please note that everyone's learning progress is different as some people learn quicker than others.
