"Having already experienced five surf instructors, I can say with confidence: Duarte is definitely one of the better ones. He takes his role as a teacher very seriously and places great emphasis on conveying technique in an understandable and precise manner. He explains not only the how, but also the why – in a way that you can really understand and implement. The organization of surfing was also top-notch: Picking up went really well, and communication via WhatsApp was uncomplicated and reliable. If there were any delays, we were informed in a timely manner – that was very pleasant. We surfed for three days, and it was no problem at all to take a break after the second day – that was also very flexible and relaxed. I give his technical instruction a perfect A (I)! If you're genuinely interested in learning to surf "cleanly," he's the right person for you."
