What a ride! We booked a family surf lesson with my two sons (13 and 17) and had an absolute blast. Felipe and Ricardo were the dream team, super professional, safety-first kind of guys, but with enough chill surfer vibes to keep things fun. They made sure we learned the right way to surf, not just stand up and pray. From paddling like penguins to wiping out with style, we learned a ton and somehow managed to look semi-cool by the end of the session. We now feel confident enough to rent our own boards and impress innocent beachgoers with our newly acquired skills. Amazing experience, we laughed, we learned, we surfed. Highly recommend this surf school to anyone looking to start on the right foot! 🤙

Having already experienced five surf instructors, I can say with confidence: Duarte is definitely one of the better ones. He takes his role as a teacher very seriously and places great emphasis on conveying technique in an understandable and precise manner. He explains not only the how, but also the why – in a way that you can really understand and implement. The organization of surfing was also top-notch: Picking up went really well, and communication via WhatsApp was uncomplicated and reliable. If there were any delays, we were informed in a timely manner – that was very pleasant. We surfed for three days, and it was no problem at all to take a break after the second day – that was also very flexible and relaxed. I give his technical instruction a perfect A (I)! If you're genuinely interested in learning to surf "cleanly," he's the right person for you.
