What to expect
Our kids ski lessons for beginners represent the best way for your children to start skiing or improve their skiing skills. In Limone all children from 6 years and older are welcome at our school!
In this course our certified instructors will help your children who only have little experience on the snow, to gain confidence on the slopes. Starting from snowplough and the easiest slopes, their skills will improve, and they will learn and have fun with their peers of similar age and ability. The groups will be composed of max 10 participants to ensure a high level of personal attention while being fully immersed in a fun atmosphere on the breathtaking slopes of Limone.

Ski pass
First timers don't need a ski pass on the first day of the lessons. The instructor will let you know when to buy it.
The instructor will advise you when to buy the voucher with points or the ski pass.

Extra information
All courses during the week last a minimum of 3 days to give the children enough time to absorb the new knowledge and assure long-lasting progress. On the weekends we also have special offers for all those kids who are not on the snow for the first time.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
Is this course suitable for my child?
This course is designed for children from 6 to 9 years old who are beginners or have little experience on skis.
What is the maximum group size?
The groups consist of a maximum of 10 participants.
What is the minimum duration of the course?
The ski course lasts a minimum of 3 days.
What will my child learn during the lessons?
Your child will start by learning the snowplough on the easiest slopes, helping them to gain confidence.

The activity Kids Ski Lessons (6-9 y.) for Beginners by Scuola Sci Limone in Limone Piemonte and Limone 1400 is available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from December 25, 2026 through January 3, 2027.
