What to expect
Located between Carinthia and Styria, Turracher Höhe offers lots of fun for your little skiers! Our kids ski lessons "Junior Stars" for youngsters aged 4 - 13 years are the perfect way to spend a fun and educational time with their peers that they won't soon forget. There is definitely a lot to discover on 42 kilometres of slopes!
Our highly trained and skilled ski instructors divide the children into groups of a maximum of 8 participants according to their level. Absolute beginners learn the basics of skiing in the green group in our safe Kinderland, which is equipped with magic carpets, colourful figures and wave slopes. Kids in blue groups are a little more advanced and therefore already ski the easy slopes, where they make their first turns in the plough and start with parallel diagonal runs.

On the first day, we meet 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
For the rest of the week, we meet 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
You can also bring your children earlier, from 09:00 am to the lounge at the Kornockbahn valley station to enjoy the slopes yourself! A ski instructor will supervise the children and bring them to the meeting point in time for the start of the lessons.
Pickup and shuttle
We organize a free shuttle from your accommodation in Turracher Höhe to the meeting point. One additional person per ski school guest can travel in the shuttle. Please contact us by 6 pm the day before.

Ski pass

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
