You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The groups consist of 4 to 8 participants.

A free shuttle service from your accommodation in Turracher Höhe is available. Please contact the ski school by 6 pm the day before to arrange it. One additional person per ski school guest can travel in the shuttle.

As a first-timer, you do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will let you know when to buy one. All other skiers need a ski pass from the first day.

Beginners will learn the basics of skiing, such as finding balance and snowploughing. More advanced skiers will focus on improving their technique and parallel skiing on easy red slopes.
