Details
Get your Open Water Diver certificate and explore the Mediterranean Sea with our PADI course in Kallithea!. You will be able to explore the beautiful beach of Kavourakia and the marine life while enjoying this unique sport.
There is no experience needed, as this course starts from the very basics in the classroom before moving to confined waters to try diving for the first time. Once you get used to the feeling of no gravity and the safety skills, we will move to open water. Our certified instructors will be by your side at all times, making sure you stay safe and have fun during your introduction to the world of scuba diving!
Programme- eLearning:
If you choose the eLearning option, we will send you the access details to the programme after the booking. It consists on 5 chapters of theory that you will have to complete before the course starts. You also have to pass a multiple choice test to get your certificate. On the first day of the course, you just have to show us that you have completed the theoretical part of PADI Open Water Diving Course and you can move directly to the practical part. With this option, the course in Kallithea takes only 2 days to complete.
- On-site theory lecture:
If you pick the option to take the theoretical course on-site, you will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom setting at the dive centre with one of our instructors. You will go through 5 sections of theory and then will have to complete a multiple choice exam to get your certificate. With this option, the duration of the total course is 4 days.
- Kick-off:
We will meet at our diving academy at the agreed time. We also offer a transfer service for free to all of our clients, so please contact us if you are interested. At the centre, you will have to fill out a Medical Form that will allow you to participate in the activity. In the case of any health issue, a doctor's permission is also required. The exact schedule is set based on your progress, so we will discuss it at the diving academy once the course starts. You will start with 5 dives in confined water at Kavourakia beach, and once you are confident enough, you can try up to 4 dives in open water. The maximum depth is 18 meters.
