If you want to spend unforgettable hours in Sardinia, come aboard our elegant mahogany schooner, lulled by the sea and absorbed in the relaxing atmosphere that only a boat trip from Arbatax along the Gulf of Orosei can offer.
Docked in the romantic harbour of Arbatax, you will find our sailing ship waiting for you, where our professional staff will welcome you on board with delicious coffee and biscuits. Meanwhile, we will start the navigation to reach the islet of Ogliastra, characterized by rare birds, heavenly beaches, and considered the Treasure Island of the Saracen pirates.
We will continue on to the natural monument of Pedra Longa, a famous rocky spur 129 metres high, and we will observe from the boat the Grotta dei Colombi, the Grotta delle Sorgenti and the Grotta Azzurra. Passing Cape Monte Santo, we will enter the Gulf of Orosei, where we will cross the spectacular fjords Portu Pedrosu and Portu Quau, where the remains of the shipwreck of the "Levante" in 1963 can still be seen.
We will arrive at the Grotta della Contessa, where light games and reflections are unleashed inside and the water itself becomes phosphorescent. Soon after, the majestic scenery of cala Goloritzè opens up, with its natural rock arch that has been decreed a natural monument, thanks also to its peaks and the color of the water. Conditions permitting, we will stop to enjoy a dive from the boat, followed by an apéritif and some snacks offered by the crew. We will make the first beach stop at Cala Biriola, and after lunch we usually head to Cala Mariolu, where you can enjoy the typical white pebbles and crystal-clear water.
If you want, you can also visit the Grotta del Fico, a real naturalistic treasure with its galleries covered in stalactites and stalagmites. After returning on board for lunch at the pools of Venere, we will head to the second beach stop for about two hours, at Cala Mariolu. Finally, we will start the return trip to the port of Arbatax, where your unforgettable day will end.

A lovely experience with a "private" feel due to the small number of passengers. The staff on board were very friendly. A warm welcome, the meal was excellent (for a boat meal), and the background music was pleasant (not at all cheesy). The boat is comfortable and everything is well thought out.
One small drawback: the beach stop. I would have preferred a 1.5-hour stop on a truly beautiful beach rather than Mariolou, as it was rather uninteresting and far too crowded. I would have appreciated a bit more explanation about what was being shown (a little history or knowledge about Sardinia) rather than just "Cala blabla" and "Cala blabla" here. I think there's time on this kind of cruise to learn a little more (but that's just my personal opinion).
Otherwise, the experience is worthwhile; the Gulf of Orosei is magnificent. It was fantastic.
