Details
Discover the southern coast of Elba with this boat trip to the Pomonte Shipwreck! On board a comfortable boat, you get the chance to explore this amazing stretch of coast and snorkeling in the wonderful sea of Tuscany!
We depart from the port of Marina di Campo, and we continue clockwise along the southern coast, arriving at the Bay of Cavoli, set amidst the rugged landscape of Monte Capanne. The beach is one of the most famous on the island for the transparency of the sea with its magnificent turquoise shades, its grainy beach, and for its favourable microclimate.
As we navigate westward, we reach the splendid Blue Grotto, which can only be reached by boat or pedalo. We continue on to the Fetovaia Beach, where we stop for a swim. This is one of the most photographed beaches on the island due to the transparency of the water and the contrasts between the sapphire and turquoise sea and the fine white granite sand.
Our journey continues towards Pomonte, a small town famous for the presence of the wreck of the Evilscott, a ship that sunk in the 1970s and which has now become an ideal destination for snorkeling, as it lies at a depth of only 12 metres. On our way back, we stop for a third swim at the Colle Palombaia, just before we return to our starting point.
