The beaches of the Baunei coastline are amongst the most beautiful in Italy, and you can enjoy them to the fullest during our RIB boat trip from Santa Maria Navarrese to Cala Goloritzè! Of this 7-hour tour, 5 hours will be dedicated to total relaxation on white-sand-beaches and crystal clear water of the coastline.
Starting in Santa Maria Navarrese, we will head north towards Pedra Longa, a 129 m high sea stack declared natural monument in 1993. We will then reach the Grotta dei Colombi, and then continue our journey to Cala Goloritzè. In this corner of paradise, characterized by white pebbles and blue waters, you will have 2 hours to enjoy some snorkeling or simply sunbathing. Then, up the Orosei National Park, we will stop at Cala dei Gabbiani, also known as the "hidden pearl" of the Mediterranean, as well as the spectacular Cala Mariolu. Here you will find a small kiosk, in case you are in need of some snacks or drinks, and you will also have 2 hours to cool off and enjoy the shallow waters.
Next on our itinerary is Grotta del Fico and its underground tunnels with stalactites and stalagmites, and then the Pools of Venus, so that you have more time to enjoy the sea and its wonders. Our last stop, before heading back to Santa Maria Navarrese, will be the stunning Cala Biriola, where you can observe the many fish that inhabit the area.
We had a great time on the boat and in the water. We paid for 7h and got nearly 8. The scipper was polite and explained everything in good English. The boat was full with 12 passengers and it did not feel crammed. But I recommend to leave your street-shoes in the car as they only get wet and are not needed anyway. We had plenty of time on the beaches for swimming and it did not feel rushed. The spots and beaches themselves were great and gorgeous as well. I can fully recommend this trip. For the price of 55€ pP it is well worth it!!
My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. Unfortunately I don't know the young lady's name anymore. But she explained things to us very competently and she knows every corner of the coast and showed and explained a lot to us.
