Details
If you have been curious to discover and get to know the underwater world close-up, this Discover Scuba Diving course in Cala Bona is for you. Perfectly suited for beginners, this course will give you an on-site introduction with theoretical training for scuba diving. A PADI certified instructor accompanies you during all times, and will help you get a good feel for diving first in shallow waters and then into more depth in the sea. With its clear waters,the east coast of Mallorca is the perfect spot to try your first dive. You will also be getting a diploma to commemorate this unique experience at the end!
Dive area
You will initiate your diving experience in the shallow waters of our natural pool we call "The Lagoon" situated right in front of our diving centre. Then, you will try out diving in the sea, at one of our selected spots from Cala Ratjada down to Porto Cristo. We select the diving spot depending on the currents and weather conditions, such as the Cala Morlanda or the Harmonica Bac, both perfectly suited for beginner divers.
Programme
We will meet at our diving centre at the booked time. If you come by car, there is free parking available nearby, or you can make use of our free transfer service (in the area of Cala Millor, Cala Bona, Costa de los Pinos, Porto Cristo, S'illot and Sa Coma). You will start by meeting your diving instructors, who will give you a theoretical introduction about diving before trying out the equipment. Then you will do first some exercises in shallow waters to get a feel for it. After you are comfortable, fully supervised, you will get to try out diving at one of our beginner-level diving spots. Finally, we will return to our diving centre.
