If you want to spend half a day discovering the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area, our boat trip from Villasimius to Punta Molentis is exactly what you need! This stretch of coastline, divided into two bays by the Capo Carbonara promontory, boasts a rich biodiversity and its ecosystem provides an ideal breeding habitat for many species.
We will depart from the port of Villasimius to reach our first stop: Cavoli Island. After sailing along the rocky coasts of this island and passing its lighthouse, we arrive at Madonna del Naufrago (Madonna of the Castaway) for a 20-minute stop. You can swim above and around this submerged statue, placed on the seabed at a depth of 11 metres in 1979, in honour of the sailors lost at sea. The next highlight of our trip is the stunning beach of Simius, known for its turquoise waters and white sand. Our stop is at a sandbank inhabited by a colony of triggerfish, a tropical species that you can observe from the boat or swim with them if you are lucky.
During the tour, you can enjoy the soft drinks that are at your disposal on board, while our experienced skippers will share their knowledge of the area and tell you stories about sailors' lives. The last destination on our itinerary is the beautiful Punta Molentis, one of the pearls of Villasimius with its postcard-perfect colours. Here you can take one last swim and enjoy the clear waters while searching for colourful fish.

Departure & Return
We meet at our office at the port of Villasimius 30 minutes before departure. If you arrive by car from Villasimius, you should take the third entrance to the port. If you want to park your car free of charge, we recommend you leave it outside the port. At the end of our trip, we will return to Villasimius.
