If you are fascinated by the mining past of Elba, then you can't miss our boat trip to the Calamita Mines. We will leave from the Margidore Beach and navigate eastwards, staying close to the coast to catch every detail.
Our environmental guide will explain the geological conformation of the island and show you all the species that we will be lucky enough to see. Enjoy being in a small group, and feel free to ask as many questions as you wish! We will make a first snorkeling stop at the Grotta del Bue Marino ("Sea Ox Cave"), and you can even reach its wonderful little beach. After resuming navigation, we will pass in front of the stunning Calamita Mines and our guide will give you plenty of information about the mining past of the island. We will then approach the Cannello Beach and dive into the water to observe its sandy seabed rich in minerals. After this swim, we will refresh with some fruit before heading towards Punta Ginepro to admire the other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.
Our return journey will now begin, during which you get an overview of the coastline we observed during the outward journey. We will also take the opportunity to make one last stop at the Gemini Islands, two small islets not far from the Innamorata Beach, and observe the rocky seabed of the area. After our adventure, we will return to Margidore beach.

Departure & Return
We meet at the port of Margidore Beach 15 minutes before the departure. You can park your car for free just a couple of minutes away from the beach. After 4 hours, we will be back at our starting point.
