FFESSM/CMAS Level 1 Diving Course in Propriano for Beginners

Take your first steps into the world of diving with our FFESSM/CMAS Level 1 diving course in Propriano. Accessible to all, from 8 years old, you can discover all the basics of scuba diving and become a certified FFESSM or CMAS diver. This course will give you access to a multitude of diving spots in France mainly, but also all over the world. This course is ideal for people who have never dived in their lives, and who wish to venture into the depths of the sea. This diving course teaches you all you need to know to become an autonomous diver, including how to communicate underwater with your instructor, how to breathe and how to use your diving equipment. Our state-certified instructors will make sure you learn everything you need to know and ensure your safety on every dive. Our dive site of the day will be chosen according to the weather conditions, but our favourite spot is the Calanca tower. This dive area offers a wonderful mix of rocky and sandy soils, which is an optimal environment for small fishes sheltering in the faults.

Programme - On-site theory lecture: The theory on site is done before and after each dive. We have a small classroom where we teach you the basics of diving. Our instructors will explain to you on the second dive, after the trial dive, how to use your equipment and clean it, so that you are autonomous for the next dives. - Kick-off: We meet at our dive centre in Propriano. You will find free and paid parking spaces less than 10 minutes away on foot. One of our instructors will give you a warm welcome and hand you your diving equipment. Each session takes place in the same way: we reach the diving area by boat and you dive for about 20 minutes in groups of 4 people maximum. After approximately 2 hours at sea, we will return to our dive centre. Depending on your wishes and time, you can do one or two sessions per day. The course consists of 5 dives and can be completed in 3 to 5 days.
