Join us for an underwater adventure and learn to dive with our PADI Open Water Diver course in Zakynthos! This course is designed for beginners who also want to gain more diving experience after the course. The Open Water Diver course consists of 5 theory sessions, one dive in the pool and 4 dives in the sea. You don't need any previous diving experience for this course. Our certified instructors will teach you the basics and prepare you for the certification exam. The sea around the island is great for diving as you can see the many sea creatures through the clear water. Zakynthos is also known for its beautiful caves and rock formations, which we are happy to show you. During the dives you can see colourful schools of fish, corals and maybe even an octopus!
The PADI Open Water Diver Course qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy
- Rent or buy diving equipment in dive centres worldwide
Programme- On-site theory lecture:
You will go through the theory of the diving course with our instructors. You will learn the basics, how to behave in certain situations and all the important things you need for your dives. During the course, you will take quizzes to prepare for the exam. You can take the exam online or on site.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our base at Agios Sostis Beach at the booked time. In the first days, you will concentrate on the theory. As soon as you are ready, we will give you the equipment, which you can try out in our pool. Once you are used to the equipment, we will take you by boat to one of our many favourite dive sites. Here you can put your new knowledge into practice. With a maximum of 4 people per instructor, we ensure that everyone is well looked after.
