Details
Three hours of our boat trip from Otranto along the Salento coast, are perfect to get to know some of the most enchanting beaches in Puglia! Our experienced skipper will choose, depending on the wind conditions, whether to navigate south or north of the town. On board, we will also delight you with an excellent aperitif of local products and prosecco.
During our boat trip to the south, we will first reach the beautiful Baia delle Orte. We will stop for 15-25 minutes to allow you to relax on this wild beach, or snorkel in its crystal-clear waters. A few steps away there is the magical Red Lake, of the former Bauxite quarries. Back on board, we will take you to Punta Palascia, the easternmost point in Italy. Here too we will make our second stop, to give you time to admire the famous lighthouse overhanging the sea, which has become the symbol of the Capo d'Otranto. Finally, our last stop before passing by Porto Badisco, Santa Cesarea Terme, and returning to the port of departure, will be at the rocky islet of Sant'Emiliano. You will be amazed at how the water turns deep blue, light blue and emerald green within a few metres!
Our northbound boat trip, on the other hand, will take you to the Baia del Mulino d'Acqua, so you can enjoy its fine sand and 4 caves during a stop. We will resume navigation, and make our second stopover at the Baia del Morrone. This natural inlet, accessible only by sea, will make you fall in love with the turquoise water of the Adriatic enclosed within it. We will continue our adventure until we reach the Alimini Lakes area, where our comfortable motorboat will anchor for a final stop at the Baia dei Turchi before heading back to the port of Otranto.
