Details
Join us on our boat trip to Turtle Island and observe the rare Caretta Caretta turtles! On this boat trip, we start in the harbour of Agios Sostis and head directly to the coast off Laganas. There we can see the Loggerhead sea turtles in their natural habitat. You will have plenty of time to photograph the rare animals, while we place great emphasis on the rules set by the national park to protect the turtles.
After this beautiful experience, we make our way to Marathonisi Island, also called Turtle Island. First we head to the back of the island, where the island's beautiful caves are hidden. Here we will take some time for our first swim stop, and you can explore the caves or swim to the pebble beach.
Our last stop will be at the front of the island: The breeding ground of the Caretta caretta turtles. Here you can jump into the water again or relax on the beach. If you wish, you can stay on the island longer and return with us to Zakynthos later, or go back to the port of Agios Sostis with our captain after about 20 minutes on the island.
