Details
Discover the most beautiful river valley in Brittany with our boat trip to the Étel river. Departing from the town of Étel, we will embark on our spacious boat and head north to discover this 22 km² inland sea. During this 1.5-hour trip, you will be impressed by the richness of the flora and fauna of the banks of this Natura 2000 site. If we are lucky, we may see European otters or nightjars!
Our crew will share with you anecdotes about the sites visited. One of the first highlights of the trip will be the Lorois bridge. Then, throughout the tour, we will see a multitude of islets, each one more beautiful than the other! We will pass in front of the island of Saint-Cado, an emblematic place of the Ria d'Étel, thanks to the presence of a small isolated house in the middle of the islet of Nichtarguer. This house was previously inhabited by an oyster farm keeper and his family, and is therefore known as the "oyster house". At the end of the tour, we will return to Étel, where you can continue your visit of the town.
