PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Pissouri in Cyprus

Are you interested in diving, but do not know how to begin? Then join our PADI discover scuba diving course, and discover a whole new passion! During the course, we will teach you the basis of scuba diving, and take you along to experience your first real dive. We guarantee your safety by working in small groups, every instructor will guide a maximum of 4 divers and make sure you feel comfortable at all times. Once you dive under the surface, you will be amazed by the beauty of the underwater world, and the abundance of sea life!

Dive area
For this course, we choose a dive site depending on the weather conditions. The area will always be maximum 12 meters deep and located right next to the shore, so you can walk right into the sea, and go as deep as you feel comfortable with. During the dive you can see various underwater species, such as sea breams, trumpet fish, pipefish, rays, pufferfish, and maybe even turtles!

Programme
We start the day with an info session about diving. You will learn the basic theory of diving, we will give you a safety briefing, and we will explain how the equipment works. After the intro session, you are ready to get into the water, so we will make our way to the dive site together by car. We start in a shallow diving area, next to the shore. The water here will be maximum 2 meters deep, so you can safely get a feel for the equipment and the water. When everyone feels comfortable, we will move to a deeper site where you can dive up to 12 meters deep. After approximately 6 hours, we return to the base.
