Explore the most emblematic river in Asturias by canoeing down the Sella River in Arriondas. This activity is ideal to do with friends, with your partner or with kids aged 5 and over, and no prior experience is needed. Throughout the canoe course, you will admire the splendid landscape surrounding this coastal river and the biodiversity. The calm waters and wide riverbed allow you to row at your own pace making your trip much more enjoyable.
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at our base in Arriondas 15 minutes before the start of the activity. Here you will meet our team, and receive a short introductory course on how to get on the canoe, paddling and safety guidelines for the descent.
- Tour:
From our base we will all head together to the start of the descent. After getting your canoe ready, you will hop into the canoe at the starting point and begin your descent independently and at your own pace, enjoying the wildlife and scenery that surrounds the river Sella.
- Return:
When doing the descent, you can choose how far you want to go, and you will end up your route at a different point of the river. Once you reach this point, our team will be waiting to pick you up in our van and take you back to the base.

- Description: Internationally recognized, this river has become the most emblematic of Asturias for its history of canoeing. The descent is 15 kilometres long and offers visitors the chance to explore the natural environment and the tranquillity of its waters.
- Route 8 km: From Arriondas to Puente de Toraño
- Route 15 km: From Arriondas to Puente de San Román
- Distance: 8 or 15 km
- Total duration: 2 or 4 hours
- Participants per canoe: 1 to 3 (depending on the canoe)
